Final Reflection

I will share my final reflection about my research paper.

This research paper class allowed me to learn how to develop my thesis by doing research and cite sources. When I started this class, I didn’t have any ideas about human cloning. But once I did research for the paper and understood what is going on with human cloning in the past and present, I got some ideas what I’d like to argue in human cloning. I learned that it’s significant to read many books and articles and gain knowledge about the topic for research. In addition, It’s essential to have many different references to show that my paper looks reliable and think how to organize them.
If I advise future students who would take this course, I would tell them to be responsible and to plan how to handle assignments and paper work. This class is hybrid class. Upside of this class is that students need to come to the class once in a week. On the other hand, they also need to provide an hour in a week to finish their assignments. It’s important to manage time if students take hybrid classes.
I could have done more research what is happening with my topic, so that my paper would be more stronger. I have changed a little bit the way of organizing my paper and have removed some quotations since last week. I used to use quotations, however, am switching to paraphrase them by writing research paper in this class. This class made me realize that I should paraphrase more often for research paper. I have been thinking how to organize the quotations to show my clear point in my research paper. I also fixed citation which is significant in research paper. I made many mistakes and started to understand how to cite resources and how to choose articles or books from reliable sources.
It was interesting to choose a topic from movies and do research for the topic. This class made me watch The Island many times, which was fun. I hope that my professor will keep doing this activity so that students can do research and have a good time at the same time!
