Welocome

       Hello, my name is Eri Ozaki. I'm from Japan, and am in music major at LaGuardia community college. I started this blog for my research paper class. I have been learning singing since childhood, and am planning to transfer to City College after I graduate from LaGuardia Community College. I am passionate to achieve my childhood dream of becoming a vocal coach. In fact, A guy who I met in New York City made me decided to study music in NYC.
     
      One of my musician friends provides a music tour in NYC for Japanese music students every year. I joined to the tour in 2012 and had some street performances with my friends at several train stations in Manhattan. There was a guy who seemed to have a good time with our performance. We talked to the guy after the performance and found out that the guy was deaf. This experience made me think what is definition of music, and consider to move to New York City for my music career.

      I am a movie person and watch several movies every week. Donnie Brasco is one of my favorite movies. Both of Al Pachino and Johnny Depp did a great job to describe how a FBI agent who infiltrated a New York mafia make a real friendship with a Mafioso, which the agent are not supposed to. As you can see, my movie interests are clime, thriller, action and drama.

      I recognize myself as a technology pessimist because I am concerned that people stop talking in person, and look at their phones, even though they are with their friends or families. The internet is convenience, and helps to improve human's life but people need to know how to use it. On the other hand, people are currently becoming optimist with the technology since their lives became easier and more convenience by the internet. Also, young generation was born with it, and has no doubts about the technology.
